InterContinental Hotels Group announced today the opening of a Crowne Plaza Hotel in Central Mexico after completing a half million dollar renovation. The 70-room Crowne Plaza Toluca-Lancaster, the latest property to join the Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts portfolio, is located 20 miles outside of Mexico City.
The newly renovated hotel offers a sophisticated atmosphere with modern décor throughout the guestrooms and lobby. The Crowne Plaza Toluca-Lancaster features International cuisine at Antibes Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Abanicos lobby bar features a Jazz band nightly and serves “Botanas”(light snacks) for guests who prefer lighter fare. An impressive spa with solarium offering massages, facials, anti-age and body treatments as well as loofah and mud therapy is located on site at the hotel. The Crowne Plaza-Toluca-Lancaster is owned by Mexican Investors and managed by Operadora Plaza Lancaster Toluca S.A. de C.V., under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group. The hotel was formerly known as Plaza Lancaster Toluca Hotel.
