River Terrace Inn Opens in Napa

Driftwood Hospitality Management LLC`s President David Buddemeyer announced today that the River Terrace Inn will open as a new luxury boutique hotel in downtown Napa in November 2003, featuring 106 graciously appointed guestrooms and suites, a restaurant and wine bar, meeting space, and much more.
“We are excited about this superb addition to our portfolio,” said Buddemeyer. “The River Terrace Inn is the first hotel in the luxury five star category for Driftwood Hospitality Management. With the spectacular design, amenities and location, we anticipate that this property will quickly become a favorite vacation and executive retreat destination for travelers visiting Napa Valley.”
The River Terrace Inn is situated in beautiful historical downtown Napa along 300 feet of the Napa River with wonderful vistas of the wildlife sanctuary, offering a unique and tranquil escape. Also nearby is the popular Napa Valley Wine Train, renowned COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts and the Napa Valley Opera House, built in 1880. The Inn features 106 graciously appointed guestrooms and suites with balconies, complimentary High Speed Internet Access and Wi-Fi, the ultimate in bedding - selected for its high quality and comfort, and thoughtful amenities such as DVD/CD players, designer bath and body products with hypo-allergenic soaps, and mini-bars featuring selections of Napa Valley wines. The 33 suites also feature expanded vanity areas and oversized self-cleaning MTI whirlpool tubs with stunning views of the landscape.
Dining at the Inn will be unforgettable with cuisine and service. Currently, the Inn offers the Terrace Cafe with a complimentary breakfast buffet and California wine bar with Tapas, Paninis and snacks all day. Restaurant Budo is scheduled to open Spring 2004, featuring New American food with Asian influences by chef James McDevitt, a 2002 James Beard Foundation Awards recipient.
If you never leave the grounds, you can indulge yourself and then restore in the outdoor pool or the Fitness Center featuring Life Fitness products. However, most will sample and explore the world-class wineries that surround the River Terrace Inn within Napa Valley and beyond. There is more than just wine though, including family and romantic activities from train rides to hot air balloon rides, musical festivals and shopping.
Ideal for an executive retreat or business in the wine country, the River Terrace Inn provides accommodations with in-room business amenities, 1,500 square feet of meeting space and a full-service Business Center.
Introductory rates begin at $129 per room, per night. Escape to one of the country`s most romantic vacation destinations for a weekend getaway or honeymoon.
