From the dance area, stairs lead to MIX`s mezzanine level where the sophisticated Cigar Lounge is to be found. Here, the ambiance is that of an exclusive member`s club with waiter service and wood-panelled décor. The lounge is split into three intimate areas, the middle section housing cabinets incorporating 62 bottle lockers where regular guests can store drinks and cigars from one visit to the next.

On the upper level, integral to MIX`s spirit of offering guests a varied and original menu of nightly entertainment choices, is the sound-proofed Live Music Room, which swings into action later into the evening. The lounge offers the seclusion of an entirely separate venue, yet a large glass wall still allows guests a full view of the pulsating action on MIX`s lower levels. The Live Music Room is comfortably furnished with table seating, its own bar and waiter service as well as a stage area with the capacity to host larger groups of musicians. The style of music on offer at the Music Room promises to be a totally unique sound for Dubai, courtesy of bands flown in monthly from the United Kingdom.

For guests who wish to host a private party, yet still have access to all of MIX`s facilities, two private rooms on the mezzanine level are available for hire.
