America West Vacations today announced two partnerships that further reinforce its nickname as “The Las Vegas Experts.” America West Vacations now has partnerships with the two newest resorts in Las Vegas. The Palms is a $265-million-dollar resort located just west of I-15. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas is a Mediterranean-style resort located 17 miles east of the strip. With the addition of these resorts, America West Vacations now offers 33 resort and hotel partners.

“We`re thrilled to add the newest resorts in Las Vegas to our lineup,” said Jack E. Richards, president and chief executive officer. “Many of our customers enjoy luxury vacations so these new resorts will certainly be popular.”

The Palms features 447 oversized guestrooms and suites in a 42-story tower offering views of the strip, an 18,000-square-foot spa and fitness center including an aromatherapy bar and a beauty salon. Located just off the strip, the Palms features a 95,000-square-foot casino with 2,200 slot machines and is home to MTV`s Real World Las Vegas.

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas, which opens February 11, 2003, features 349 deluxe rooms with an adjacent 40,000-square-foot casino and a luxurious 30,000-square-foot spa with 24 treatment rooms, lake activities and 36 holes of championship golf.
