A Comfort Inn hotel recently opened here at 8225 Northeast Wasco Street.

Constructed in 2001, the Comfort Inn hotel formerly operated as a Microtel Inn & Suites hotel.

The Comfort Inn hotel, owned and operated by Pranav Enterprises Inc. of Portland, Ore., features 66-units with king- or queen-size beds. All rooms include a microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, 27-inch remote-controlled cable television with HBO, speaker telephone, computer data port, work desk, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Suites also are available and feature a separate living room area and sofa bed. Some suites feature a Jacuzzi tub. Handicapped and non-smoking rooms are available.

The Comfort Inn hotel features a spacious lobby with high ceilings and a fireplace, meeting room that can accommodate up to 50 people, a heated indoor pool and hot tub, exercise room, breakfast area that seats up to 24 people and guest laundry services.

Rates begin at $69 and include a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast and complimentary USA TODAY newspaper. Children, ages 18 and under, stay free when accompanied by an adult.
