Starwood Hotels & Resorts Declares Second Quarter Dividend

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: HOT) announced today that Starwood Hotels & Resorts (the “Trust”), a subsidiary of the Company whose shares are traded together with the Company`s shares, has declared its regular quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share for the Company`s second quarter ending June 30, 2001. The dividend will be payable on July 20, 2001 to shareholders of record on June 30, 2001 and represents a 16% increase over the amount paid in the second quarter of 2000.
