Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts has named Raul Petraglia general manager and Dolores Castillo director of sales for both the Meliá Los Cabos All Suite Oceanfront Beach & Golf Resort and the Meliá San Lucas Resort, each located in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Petraglia started his career with Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts in 1987 working in the entertainment area at properties throughout Spain. After completing Sol Meliá`s executive training program, he became resident manger at the Paradisus Cozumel. Petraglia then served as assistant director for the Meliá Turquesa hotel in Cancun, and the Meliá Bávaro Resort in Punta Cana, before becoming resident manager of the Gran Meliá Caracas in Venezuela.

He was then named general manager of the Meliá Tropical in Punta Cana. Petraglia was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and educated in Switzerland, Argentina and Spain.

Castillo joined Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts in April 1999. She served as assistant director of sales at the Meliá Mexico Reforma, in Mexico City, before being appointed director of sales for the Meliá Los Cabos and Meliá San Lucas resorts. She worked for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Radisson International and ITT Sheraton before joining Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts. Castillo is a Mexican citizen and has a degree from the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico.
