Marriott International Elects Ann M. Fudge To Board Of Directors

Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) today announced that Ann M. Fudge, former president of Kraft Foods’ $5 billion Beverages, Desserts and Post Division, group vice president and member of the Management Committee, has been elected to Marriott’s board of directors.

Ms. Fudge also serves on the boards of directors of General Electric, Honeywell International and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.


Active in community and civic affairs, Ms. Fudge has won leadership awards from both the Minneapolis and New York City YWCAs, and she also received the 1998 Alumni Achievement Award from Harvard Business School. In addition, she was recipient of the 2000 Achievement Award from the Executive Leadership Council.


Ms. Fudge serves on the board of governors of the Boys and Girls Clubs and is a trustee of The Brookings Institution. She is also a member of both The Committee of 200, a professional organization of preeminent women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders, and The Council on Foreign Relations.


Prior to joining Kraft’s original precursor company, General Foods Corporation, Ms. Fudge began her career at General Mills, Inc.

Ms. Fudge has been profiled in Black Enterprise magazine and was named by Fortune as one of the 50 most powerful women in American business. She received her B.A. from Simmons College and M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
