hotel collection, is proud to announce the appointments of Sharon Adam as Travel Agent National
Sales Manager and Karen Butler as National Sales Manager. Ms. Butler`s position was recently
created to better serve the needs of the Manhattan East`s growing West Coast market.
In the role of Travel Agent National Sales Manager Ms. Adam will be responsible for the
New York City market as well as the Tri-state New York and the Northeast Seaboard. Ms. Adam
has had an impressive career with American Express - Travel Related Services working in
numerous capacities including manager of the in-house travel department at KPMG New York City
as well as Team Leader for an American Express Platinum Agency in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ms. Butler will be responsible for sales in the West Coast focusing on the travel agent and
corporate markets. Prior to joining Manhattan East, Ms. Butler established herself in a number of
positions during her 16 years at Hoffman/McCord Travel in Los Angeles. She held the titles of
Manager of Hotel Relations and Special Services, Director of Vendor Relations/Western Region as
well as VP Support Services.
