MOre Hotels For Protea Hotels

Protea Hotels continues to expand its portfolio further into the continent with the latest addition of the Protea Hotel Amani Beach in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania and the Protea Hotel Harare Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe into its burgeoning portfolio.

“We believe that our growth into this exciting market is due to the outstanding support and growing demand that we have recognised from business travellers, conference organisers and the travel trade,” said Protea`s Allan Duke, group marketing services director. “These two properties have been carefully selected to ensure that they fit in with our portfolio and our clients` expectations.”
The Protea Hotel Amani Beach is set amongst 40-acres of indigenous woodlands, overlooking its own private beach on the Tanzanian coast, 30 kilometers south of Dar Es Salaam`s CBD and 20 km from the airport. The rates for Protea Hotel Amani Beach will not be changing and are quoted in US dollars. The fully inclusive rate (dinner, bed, breakfast & lunch) for a single is US$200 and double $300 per person sharing per night.

Situated within a National Park on the banks of Lake Chivero, Protea Hotel Harare Safari Lodge provides accommodation, many of which are `tent-under-thatch` rooms, overlooking the lake. The hotel also provides a direct link by float planes to Lake Kariba to where GUESTS can board the `Lady Jacqueline` luxury cruise to view the`Big Five`. Sleeping a maximum of 15 persons, the 65-foot long Lady Jacqueline also provides a gourmet cook, a tow-along speedboat, a lounge with video and stereo system.
