Hyatt Cancun Caribe Villas & Resort Receives Fifteenth Consecutive “Four Diamond Award”

November 2000 Hyatt Cancun Caribe Villas & Resort has the proud honor of receiving the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award. The Four Diamond award reflects an exceptional degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail, while offering upscale facilities and a variety of amenities.

Susan Devine, general manager of the hotel, stated: “To receive this award for 15 consecutive years reconfirms that the Hyatt Cancun Caribe Villas & Resort is regarded for its consistent high quality facilities and service standards, offering the guest an exceptional vacation experience.”

To obtain the “Four Diamond Award” an inspector conducts a physical evaluation of the entire property including exterior building and grounds, public areas, room decor and ambiance, guest room amenities, bathrooms, housekeeping and maintenance.
Once the physical aspects of a property are considered to be at the Four Diamond level, services are evaluated by a AAA field inspector during an anonymous overnight stay. The services experienced by the field inspector must also support a Four Diamond rating, in order to achieve this level.

AAA is a not for-profit organization of some 100 motor clubs serving more than 40 million members in the United States and Canada, and is considered as one of the largest travel organizations in the world. “AAA`s Diamond Rating System is the most respected lodging and restaurant rating system in the industry,” said Alan Borne, managing director, AAA Publishing. “The Four Diamond Award is only given to establishments that exemplify a high standard of excellence.”

Hyatt Cancun Caribe Villas & Resort is known for providing superb guest accommodation and personalized service, and the “Four Diamond Award” recognizes the hard work that has gone into creating and operating this exceptional establishment.
