Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) is scheduled to open the 162-room Courtyard by Marriott in Somerset, N.J. this June. Located at 250 Davidson Ave., the Somerset Courtyard will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by New Castle Hotel Corp. of Shelton, Conn.

Situated 30 miles from Newark International Airport and 45 minutes from New York City, the Somerset Courtyard offers guests convenient access to the Bridgewater Commons Mall, United States Golf Association’s Museum and Library and Rutgers University. Weekend rates begin at $69 per night.

The Somerset Courtyard features five suites with a king-size bed, refrigerator and microwave oven, and two king-size suites with whirlpool spas.

The five-story hotel also offers two meeting rooms with nearly 900 square feet of meeting space to accommodate small meetings and functions of up to 35 people. Other guest services and features include:
