Cendant Corporation`s hotel group has introduced a quick quote service that allows tour operators to access net rates via the Internet for groups of 10 or more at 6,622 open hotels under the Super 8®, Days Inn®, Ramada®, Travelodge®, Howard Johnson®, Knights Inn®, Villager, Wingate Inn® and AmeriHost Inn® brands.

Cendant`s quick quote service is offered through North American Journeys Inc., which operates www.visitnaj.com, a one-stop portal site created expressly for tour operators. To get a quick quote, operators simply click on the site’s Product Development icon, which takes them to a second page where they click on a link to the Hotel Quick Quote Form.

That link provides a fill-in form to be completed and submitted on line. Cendant will provide a response within 36 hours for quotes requested in the midscale and economy categories.

“This quick quote service was created to help tour operators respond to the barrage of ad-hoc group requests quickly and with brands they know and trust,” said Bob Chafey, Cendant`s senior director of tour & travel sales.
