Prime Hospitality Corp. Names Brian Knoderer to Midwest Development Position

Prime Hospitality Corp.
(NYSE: PDQ) has appointed Brian Knoderer as Regional Vice President, Franchise
Sales and Development, for its Midwest region.  Knoderer will focus on
expansion of the AmeriSuites and Wellesley Inns & Suites brands.

Knoderer joins Prime Hospitality from Choice Hotels International, where
he was Director of Franchise Development for the Clarion Hotel brand.
Responsible for growth of that brand in 11 Midwestern states, he was a top
salesperson for three consecutive years, adding over 3,500 hotel rooms to the
Clarion system. Prior to that, Knoderer was a franchise consultant and
president/owner of Town Marketing, a franchise direct mail marketing business.
He earned an MBA from Butler University in 1990 and a BS in Management
Information Systems at Ball State University.  He is a Fishers, Indiana
resident.
