FAIRFIELD, N.J., May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/—Prime Hospitality Corp.
(NYSE: PDQ) announced today the opening of its 142nd AmeriSuites hotel, the
Atlanta Airport/North AmeriSuites in East Point, GA.  The hotel is owned by
Diplomat NBD Hotels, LLC.

The six-story, 152-suite hotel is located at 3415 Norman Berry Drive in
East Point, GA just off I-85.  It is approximately one mile from the Atlanta
Airport, two miles from the Georgia International Convention Center and twelve
miles from downtown Atlanta.  It is the 13th AmeriSuites open in the state of
Georgia.

In addition to the 142 AmeriSuites in operation, there are also six
AmeriSuites currently under construction.  Prime also has a pipeline of
58 executed franchise agreements for new AmeriSuites to be built.
