Northwest Unveils “E-Biz Perks”

Northwest Airlines announced today “E-Biz Perks,” a new on-line booking product for small and mid-sized companies that offers corporate customers a variety of incentives for booking travel on Northwest and code-share affiliated flights.

“Companies, no matter what their size, are always looking for better ways to manage their costs while at the same time getting better value for the money they spend. Travel is no exception,” said Fay Beauchine, Northwest vice president - sales. “E-Biz Perks offers companies an easy, valuable way to do both.”

Depending on their needs, E-Biz Perks offers companies a variety of incentives for booking on Northwest-coded flights. For example, companies can earn points ($1 earns 1 point based on the amount of revenue booked through E-Biz Perks) that can be redeemed for free tickets, upgrades, Silver Elite WorldPerks memberships, WorldClub privileges and more. Each traveler also will earn 5,000 WorldPerks Bonus Miles for his or her first trip booked through E-Biz Perks.

In addition to the incentives, E-Biz Perks also provides corporate travel managers at small- and mid-sized companies with web-based tools for tracking and managing accounts, including Bonus Point status and on-line sales productivity reports. Travel managers can even order awards on line as well as book car and hotel reservations.

More information about E-Biz Perks is available on Northwest’s award-winning website at www.nwa.com. E-Biz Perks is open to all small- and medium-sized U.S. corporations that have a valid Federal Taxpayer ID and that do not currently have a Preferred Carrier Agreement with Northwest.
