Galileo and Trondent Partner to Offer Easy Access to Trip Itineraries

Galileo International has entered into a partnership with Trondent Development
Corp. to integrate Trondent`s Infuzer(TM) functionality into Galileo(R)
ViewTrip, an online travel itinerary service.
Infuzer will give ViewTrip.com
users the convenience of having their travel information at their fingertips
by allowing them to easily download personal travel itinerary information onto
their electronic calendars and PDAs.  Other useful itinerary information
available for personal download includes flight status, weather updates and
travel alerts.  Galileo

is offering this enhancement immediately and free of
charge to all worldwide travelers who book through Galileo-connected travel
agencies and use ViewTrip.com.
“The electronic calendaring market is growing rapidly with over 100
million users and an estimated 70 percent penetration rate within the business
community,” said David Wood, Trondent

CEO. “Enhancing ViewTrip.com with
Infuzer offers a fast way for travelers to populate their calendars with
itinerary and contact information, and it makes it easy for travelers to share
this information with family and others who have a need to know.  At the same
time, Infuzer helps drive down travel agency costs by giving travelers
itinerary and contact information where and when they need it, thereby
reducing `information` calls to agency reservation centers.”

Infuzer puts travel information at travelers` fingertips without them
having to repeatedly go online or re-key travel itineraries.  Travelers simply
click on the Infuzer icon and automatically copy their itinerary dates and
details from the ViewTrip.com site, directly into their electronic calendar.
When the download is complete, travelers can then sync their itineraries onto
their PDAs, such as Palm(TM) Pilots.  Any changes to the traveler`s PNR
(Passenger Name Record) are automatically updated so it does not require
manual intervention.  For example, if a travel agent were to make changes to
the traveler`s reservations, those changes would subsequently appear in the
traveler`s calendar.  Infuzer works with all major calendaring products
including ACT!(R), Microsoft(R) Outlook(R), Lotus Notes, Palm Desktop Date
Book and Lotus Organizer(R).

As a permission-based system, Infuzer will ask the user`s permission
before inserting any items into the user`s calendar.  This provides the user
assurance that unauthorized parties will not be inserting items into the
user`s calendar without their explicit permission.

“We have selected the Infuzer solution after listening to our rapidly
growing community of Galileo ViewTrip users` requests for a solution that
would increase their productivity and simplify access to travel information
while on the go,” said Todd Dubner, Galileo VP of Product Innovation.

“Infuzer conveniently offers business and leisure travelers a hassle-free
means of staying on top of their travel plans worldwide.  Of particular
importance to business travelers, the ability to download real-time
itineraries anywhere in the world allows them to make informed decisions on-
and offline together with their business associates.”
