Delta.com Introduces Secure Information Saver Tool

Delta Air Lineså’ customers now can tailor their delta.com
experience by designating and storing preferred destinations, credit cards and contact information to streamline the process of buying a ticket online.
The new delta.com tool enables SkyMiles members to securely store their profile information and manage travel preferences, purchase information and other details for quick travel planning. Stored information automatically enters required details when SkyMiles members log on to delta.com.

“Delta.com averages more than six million unique visitors a month with more than 1.3 million customers visiting delta.com an average of six times per month,” said Steve Scheper, Delta`s managing director of e-Business, Business- to-Consumer. “The new profile tool personalizes their experience and makes delta.com the fastest and easiest way to buy a ticket.”

Customers can store criteria for up to 10 trips including departure and arrival destinations, number of passengers, preferred seating and class of service. The tool also allows customers to privately save up to three mailing addresses, five e-mail addresses, five telephone numbers and four credit cards numbers. Additionally, the profile helps customers manage how and when they would like Delta to contact them, including e-mail program enrollment and delivery method for their SkyMiles statements. To personalize settings, SkyMiles customers log in and click on My Profile on the delta.com home page under the SkyMiles member log in.
