Sun Cruises Steam Ahead with Aggressive Development Plans

, today announced the appointment of Mark Lewsey to the newly created position of Director of Commercial Development.

Lewsey joins Sun Cruises from Amadeus, where he was Director of Marketing.  Prior to this, he worked for Silversea Cruises for more than five years and was responsible for marketing and product development for Europe, Middle East and Africa.  He will take up his appointment on September 16, reporting to Sun Cruises?f Managing Director Frank Pullman.

Lewsey?fs appointment will give greater focus to both product development and yield management.  In his new role, Lewsey will be responsible for expanding the programme of marketing and sales initiatives with in-house tour operators and third parties.
