Frontier Airlines Launches Flexcheck

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced that its “FlexCheck,” web-based automated check-in services are live and available for customer access. FlexCheck utilizes Lake Mary, Fla.-based Kinetics, Inc.`s (http://www.kineticsusa.com/) TouchPort software and hardware solutions for airport kiosks and Internet check-in.
This enhancement to Frontier`s website at http://www.frontierairlines.com allows customers to check in for Frontier mainline as well as Frontier JetExpress and codeshare flights, print boarding passes and receipts, and change seat assignments up to 90 minutes prior to scheduled take-off. In order to use FlexCheck, customers must meet the following criteria:
—Must be an e-ticketed customer

—Domestic travel only

—Itineraries must be only Frontier mainline, Frontier JetExpress and codeshare flights (no connections on other airlines)

—Eight or less passengers per reservation

—Can be done up to 90 minutes prior to departure, but not more than 12 hours prior to departure
“Building off our four-legged platform to become `A whole different animal,` our new web check-in tool provides more flexibility and greater ease of use for our customers,” said Sean Menke, Vice President of Marketing and Planning. “With FlexCheck, customers can select or change their seat assignment, print a receipt for the flight, and check in from the comfort of their home or office. In addition, as customers complete the web check-in process, a final screen will display a printable receipt that includes a graphic of the tail with the specific animal type for the scheduled flight.”
The simple web-based process requires customers to enter their first and last name and a departure city. In addition, the customer will input either their Frontier confirmation number, EarlyReturns number, credit card number used to purchase the ticket, or the e-ticket number. Once entered, a series of screens will display the itinerary, flight status, seat assignment and frequent flyer number. Customers may enter their EarlyReturns, Flying Club or Midwest Miles frequent flyer number, and change seat assignments if seats are still available. Boarding passes printed out from the automated web check-in will be accepted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
