Delta Extends Seasonal Service

Delta Connection will offer customers extended seasonal round-trip jet service between Boston and Burlington, Vt., and Portland, Maine, through Aug. 14, 2003. Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Coast Airlines (Nasdaq: ACAI) operates five daily round-trip flights between Boston and Burlington, and Delta Connection carriers ACA and Comair offer a total of five daily round-trip flights between Boston and Portland.

“Delta Connection’s regional jet service will deliver more frequencies in these markets through most of the summer, offering our customers more travel options to meet their personal schedule needs,” said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer, Delta Connection, Inc.

The once-daily seasonal round-trip flights from Boston to Burlington and Portland were scheduled to end June 30.

Delta Connection carriers include Delta’s wholly owned subsidiaries Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Comair, additional regional carriers Atlantic Coast Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and SkyWest Airlines, and codeshare partner American Eagle (in California).
