THAI Recruits New Attendants

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited will recruit new male and female cabin attendants with contract of hire for 5 years.Applicants must be single females 20 -26 years of age, single males 20 - 28 years of age, males must have completed mandatory military service, Bachelor’s Degree level education, pass English language aptitude test with a TOEIC score of 600, TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS score of 5.5.

Interested applicants may apply in person at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, during 17 - 21 March 2003 from 08.30 - 16.30 hrs.

Between 7-12 March, Thai Airways International will participate in ITB Berlin in Germany, the world’s leading trade fair for the tourism industry worldwide.Ê THAI will organize a promotional booth at ITB Berlin, under the themeÊ “A Touch of Thai,” aiming to bring Thailand’s unique culture and tradition to the world and at the same time bring the world to Thailand.

Exhibitors from various aspects of the international tourism industry will participate in ITB Berlin, those being national and regional tourism organizations, tourism offices, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, insurance companies, communication and information systems,publishing companies, and international tourism federations.

THAI’s promotional booth, based on the theme: “A Touch of Thai,” will be located on an area of 108 square meters, allowing visitors to learn more about the airline’s products and services.Ê A range of delicious Thai snacks and desserts will be served at THAI’s booth, such as Larb Moo Tod, Lemon Grass Jelly, Herbal Teas, Sticky Rice in Bamboo Shoots, Tod Mun Pla Krai, Lemon Grass Juice, Northeastern Thai Style
Sausage, Ginger Juice, Matoom Juice.Ê These Thai meals will be served in traditional Thai clay plates and in glasses from the One Tumbon One Product (OTOP) project.Ê THAI has also invited masseurs from the National Institute of Thai Traditional Medicine to demonstrate the art of Thai traditional massage and hot herbal therapy treatment, which is believed to help cure illnesses related to irregular blood circulation.
In addition, THAI will be celebrating its 30th anniversary of flight operations toÊ Frankfurt at ITB Berlin and souvenirs will be distribute to visitors to the THAI booth commemorating this special occasion.Ê Currently, THAI operates daily flights between Bangkok and Frankfurt and four weekly flights between Bangkok and Munich, utilizing Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
