Not sure if a visa is necessary for that destination you will be travelling to, or if you would like to find out more about the destination, but find it a hassle to go to different sources just to get basic information about the place you are going to? Singapore Airlines (SIA) has just made the whole process easier.
Currently available on the Airline`s website www.singaporeair.com, customers making an online booking on SIA would be able to access travel information like visa and passport requirements, currency and time conversion tools, weather updates, and, a brief introduction of the destination the customer is travelling to, all on one website.
“Being a frequent business traveller myself, I know how tedious it can be to remain updated of the latest currency changes or visa requirements. By having this service on our website, we are making the pre-flight experience more convenient and less time-consuming, especially for those who prefer to make their travel bookings online,” said Mr Yap Kim Wah, SIA`s Senior Vice President Product & Services.
Mr Yap added, “With these new travel-related information quickly available at the click of a mouse, our customers can access the information required easily on the SIA website!”
Other services currently available via the SIA website include Internet check-in, SIA Mobile Services like flight alerts, KrisFlyer Membership Services, and the increasingly popular “Book The Cook” meal service.
“SIA will continue to explore ways to extend its customer service excellence online,” said Mr Yap. “We will seek to innovate and enhance our website to provide even more personalised services and an wider selection of tools and functions for our customers.”
