Cestari Joins Vanguard Airlines As Vice President Of Marketing Communications

Kansas City, MO—Vanguard Airlines, Inc. (NasdaqSC: VNGD) announced today the appointment of Mark R. Cestari to the position of vice president of marketing communications.


Cestari comes to Vanguard from Shuttle America where he was an officer and vice president for marketing/communication. Joining Shuttle America prior to its launch in 1998, Cestari directed all aspects of initial branding, integrated advertising programs, news media/community relations and Internet marketing. Before joining Shuttle America, he was President and CEO of three Convention & Visitors Bureaus-in Providence, Rhode Island; Greenville, South Carolina; and New Haven, Connecticut-where he established innovative destination marketing programs in conjunction with local airport authorities and the major airlines. Prior to that time, he had a 10-year career at various advertising agencies in Connecticut and New York City.
