Southwest Airlines Names New Station Manager for Boise Air Terminal


BOISE, Idaho, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/—Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV)
recently named Knox Richison as the new Station Manager for the Company`s
operations at Boise Air Terminal.  In his new position, Richison will be
responsible for ensuring the safe operation of all flight activities in Boise.

Richison.  “I hope that I can serve the Boise community with the same
dedication to excellence that has produced Southwest`s continued success.”
Richison joined the Southwest family in 1988 as a Ramp Agent in Houston
and has since held the position of Ramp Supervisor.  After working in Houston,
Richison served as Ground Operations Training Instructor in Dallas and Phoenix
and interim Station Manager in Harlingen.  Most recently, Richison acted as
Manager of Ramp and Operations in Houston.

In addition to his 15 years of airline leadership experience, Richison is
a graduate of Southwest`s Manager in Training (MIT) program, a course designed
to help prepare individuals for Southwest leadership roles.

“Knox is a perfect fit for the Boise team,” said Frank Guistiani,
Southwest`s Regional Director of Ground Operations.  “Boise Air Terminal is
fortunate to acquire such an experienced team member to its management staff.”
Southwest Airlines currently operates 18 daily nonstop departures from
Boise Air Terminal to Las Vegas, Oakland, Portland, Reno/Tahoe, Salt Lake
City, Seattle, and Spokane with additional direct or connecting service to
30 cities.
