Qantas Adds More American Destinations To Its Network

Qantas will introduce two additional North American destinations to its network following the signing of a commercial agreement with the American carrier Alaska Airlines.

Qantas will offer codeshare services with Alaska Airlines between Los Angeles and Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon from 25 May.

The services between Los Angeles and Seattle will connect with most Qantas flights between Australia and Los Angeles. The services between Los Angeles and Portland will operate daily.

Qantas Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Dixon said the new services would open up important links for business and leisure travellers to the US.

“With the introduction of these new codeshare services, Qantas will increase its network to 15 destinations across North America and Canada,” he said.
