Again, LanChile Has Been Chosen Best Latin-American Airline

On a second year bases and according to the prestigious English marketing consultant SkyTrax, LanChile has been elected best Latin American airline. This research has been the largest worldwide survey ever made to airline passengers. It measured product quality and the service provided. The survey considered more than 4 million answers, all of them sent by people from 84 nationalities. The poll, which this year increased twice as compared to the previous sample, expressed its preferences between August 2001 and March 2002. The responses were gathered through on-line poll opinion studies, and on board as well as airport interviews, all over the world.

As a result of this study, Emirates was awarded best world airline for the year 2002. At the same time, the category of world regions and continent best airline was given to LanChile for best airline in South America with regards to the quality of service offered to its passengers.
