Another Brand-New Aircraft Arrives At easyJet

The eighth brand-new Boeing 737-700 has just arrived at easyJet, taking the fleet size up to 26 aircraft. The easyJet fleet, which now consists of 18 737-300s and eight next-generation 700s, will continue to increase in size in order to facilitate the airline`s network expansion plans.

easyJet has placed firm orders with Boeing for a further 24 brand-new aircraft, which will be phased into the easyJet fleet between now and 2004. The airline is committed to operating modern aircraft, and already flies one of the youngest fleets in the world, the average age of the aircraft currently being under five years old. But as the new Boeing 700s arrive at easyJet, the fleet will actually get even younger!
