Midwest Express Airlines Frequent Flyer Program Announces Online Awards Bookings and Miles for sale

Midwest Express Airlines has announced two enhancements to its Frequent Flyer program. Effective immediately, program members can now book award travel online on the Midwest Express Web site. Additionally, members can now purchase additional Frequent Flyer miles for themselves or as gifts for other members.
“We are pleased to offer our Frequent Flyer members greater convenience and flexibility,” said Thomas J. Vick, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Midwest Express. “Now they can go to our Web site and view award seat availability and book their next free trip. And if they need a few extra miles to earn that free ticket, they can purchase the miles needed.”
When reserving award tickets online, Frequent Flyer members can check their account balance, view seat availability for preferred and alternate itinerary choices, choose seat locations, select special meals and request special services. They can also book award tickets for up to five people on the same itinerary, and e-mail itineraries to friends and family. Online award booking of Companion and Choice awards is currently not available.
Additionally, Frequent Flyer members can take advantage of a new online Purchase Miles program. Miles can be purchased for personal use or as gifts for others in increments of 1,000 - up to a maximum of 15,000 per account per calendar year. Soon Midwest Express will also launch Business Miles, a program through which businesses can purchase miles for use as sales incentives, employee recognitions, customer promotions and fund-raisers.
