Dr. Wolfgang Sacher appointed Managing Director of GlobeGround GmbH
Dr. Raoul Hille (39) has been appointed the new chairman of the Board of Management of Start Amadeus, Germany«s leading travel distribution system.
Dr. Hille, who succeeds Jürgen Büchy, comes to Start Amadeus from GlobeGround GmbH, a management holding with 56 affiliated companies worldwide. From 1998 on, he and the two other directors of GlobeGround were responsible for further developing the strategy of the company, which is a wholly owned Lufthansa subsidiary. Dr. Hille will take up his new post at Start Amadeus on 15 October 2000.
Dr. Wolfgang Sacher (50) has been appointed Managing Director of GlobeGround GmbH, the market leader in airport ground handling services. Dr. Sacher, who replaces Dr. Raoul Hille, was Executive Vice President Human Recources at Lufthansa German Airlines until 31 August 2000.
