Overall traffic:

December traffic increased by 6%,  while capacity increased by 3%. Consequently, overall load factor increased by 2.6 percentage points from 74.5% last year to 77.1% this year. Traffic growth was especially strong in the route areas Africa, Central and South Atlantic and Asia Pacific.

Passenger traffic:

Passenger traffic increased by 6%, while capacity increased 1%. Passenger load factor increased by 3.5 percentage points to 74% this year. Passenger traffic growth was strong in the route areas Asia Pacific, Central and South Atlantic and Africa.  Business Class traffic growth was strong. Especially in the route areas North Atlantic,  Asia Pacific, Central and South Atlantic, as well in Africa.

Cargo traffic:

Cargo traffic increased by 7%, whereas capacity grew 4%. Traffic growth was especially strong in the route area Africa. Overall cargo load factor increased by 1.8 percentage points to 74.9% this year.
