Cathay Pacific Wins Best Business Class Award For Ninth Year

Cathay Pacific Airways has won the Best Airline - Business Class award at the TTG Annual Travel Awards 2001 held in Singapore. This is the ninth year the airline has picked up this prestigious award including the last six years in a row. The TTG Annual Travel Awards recognise outstanding individuals and organisations in the Asia Pacific travel industry. They are voted for by readers of TTG Asia and TTG China.

The award ceremony was held on Friday night during the PATA Travel Mart Closing Ceremony in Singapore.

Cathay Pacific`s Director and Chief Operating Officer Philip Chen said: “We are extremely pleased to win this award as the business sector is one of the most keenly fought over markets in the airline industry. This is a reward for our commitment to excellence and our unique service style of `Service Straight From the Heart`.”

Mr Chen said much of the credit must go the airline`s staff. He said: “Our tremendous record of success in this award is due to the dedication of our staff in delivering excellent customer service. I would like to thank all of our staff who have helped make winning this award possible.”
