Air Canada has been chosen `Best Airline for Travel to Canada` by the readers of Business Traveler International magazine for the seventh consecutive year and will be recognized along with other award winners at a luncheon today in New York.
“We want to thank our business customers for recognizing Air Canada in such a consistent manner and in such a competitive market,” said Marc Rosenberg, Vice President, Sales and Product Distribution, in New York to accept the award. “For all Air Canada employees, this award is truly our `Magnificent Seven` and a tribute to their efforts in building our international products and services.”
The awards are based on an annual survey of more than 2,000 Business Traveler International readers. In addition to Air Canada`s `Best Airline for Travel to Canada` award, Star Alliance carriers earned recognition in a total of 14 categories. Complete results of this year`s reader survey appear in the magazine`s February issue.
The `Best Airline for Travel to Canada` award follows several other recent accolades for the airline. Last month, Air Canada was voted best Passenger Service Airline in the world by Air Transport World Magazine and was also honoured with four distinctions at the 1999 OAG Airline of the Year Awards including Best North American Domestic Airline.
