Air Canada today confirmed that on April 16, 1999 the membership of the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW), the union representing the airline`s 3,840 customer sales and service agents in Canada, ratified a new collective agreement with the company. The three year agreement, effective April 1, 1999, runs to March 30, 2002. The previous agreement expired March 31, 1999.
