British Airways announced today that it had delayed the launch of its new daily service to Denver, Colorado, until August 1. The service was due to begin from Gatwick on June 1.

The airline said that it had reached its decision with great reluctance because it was still awaiting approval for the new route from the US Department of Transportation.

The airline will be contacting those who are booked on the service from June to make alternative arrangements.
