10,000 Expected To Rush For 7,000 Jobs

BRITISH AIRWAYS RECRUITMENT FAIR
MEDIA INVITATION - FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 12 NOON

More than 10,000 job hunters are expected to check-in at Olympia on Friday
(April 24 ) for the biggest recruitment fair held by a single company.

The Working World of British Airways is designed to give a flying start to the airline’s campaign to recruit 7,000 people in the next financial year.

Based around the theme of the continents, visitors will have an opportunity of finding out about the range of jobs the airline is seeking to fill - ranging from cabin crew and pilots to computer experts, marketeers and check-in agents. They will also have a chance to see an aircraft cabin mock-up and, on Saturday, fly an aircraft simulator.

Careers advisers will be on hand to give tips on issues like interview techniques and compiling CVs.
