British Airways UK & Ireland Sales has appointed Ian Heywood as General Manager Field Sales, responsible for the airline’s relationship with all business agents in the UK and small to medium corporates.

Ian will work alongside Niels Conradsen, who was appointed General Manager Corporate Sales in September. Niels is responsible for the head office relationship with the multiples, as well as larger corporates. The appointment completes the restructure of Business Sales, following the departure of John Morgan to British Midland.

Tiffany Hall, British Airways Head of UK & Ireland Sales said: “Ian’s wealth of experience in business sales makes him the ideal candidate to improve and develop our relationship with our business agency partners.”

Ian will take up his new appointment immediately. He held his previous position as Divisional Sales Manager London and South for eighteen months. Previously he worked in South East Asia as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for British Airways and Qantas.
