Continental Airlines Announces Enhanced Service Between Palm Springs And Houston

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/—Continental
Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today announced the launch of twice daily, nonstop
service from Palm Springs, Calif., to Houston`s Bush Intercontinental Airport
beginning December 12.

The service aboard the latest version of Embraer`s fast, quiet
50-passenger ERJ-145 ExpressJet, will feature a comfortable leather interior
with only window and aisle seating.

“Previously Continental was only able to provide seasonal 737-500 service
to the Palm Springs area,” said Jason Reisinger, manager of route planning.
“The commencement of year-round service on the new, quiet and comfortable
ExpressJet will allow Continental to provide a greatly improved level of
service and convenient connections to more Continental destinations than ever
before.”

Houston is the best hub for travel to Mexico and is also an excellent
connecting point for travel to the East.
