US Airways Adds Airport Priority Security Lines

US Airways today will add priority airport security lines for frequent travelers at four of its major U.S. gateways - Boston, Charlotte, New York LaGuardia and Pittsburgh.

The security lines will be in place for US Airways’ First Class and Envoy Class travelers, together with members of the three premium levels of its Dividend Miles frequent traveler program, Chairman’s, Gold and Silver Preferred.

The move, designed to speed up airport processing and provide added convenience for US Airways’ most frequent customers, follows the airline’s development of experimental priority security lines at Philadelphia, which became a permanent feature earlier this month.

“We are currently evaluating additional airports in US Airways’ network where it would be practical and beneficial to our customers to offer priority lines,” said Alan W. Crellin, executive vice president of operations. “This is part of an overall focus we have to enhance and improve the travel experience of our passengers.”
