Following a General Meeting on January 24, the Shareholders of Latvia`s national airline Air Baltic Corporation have announced the appointment of Bertolt Flick as President and Chief Executive Officer , effective March 1, 2002.
Since 1995 Mr. Flick has been the member of the company’s Supervisory Board and since 1999 he was elected the Chairman of the Board.
Mr J‰nis Naglis was elected as the new member in the national airline’s Supervisory Board.
Current President Jens Helmü Larsen will take up a management position with Scandinavian Airline Systems.
