Travel software and technology solutions provider Atinera has announced that Stuart Winter has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Winter previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Atinera EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) where he has been responsible for sales, marketing, client services and operations for the Atinera EMEA operating company.

Stuart Winter brings over 20 years of senior sales and corporate management experience to Atinera. Before joining Atinera in January 2001, he was Managing Director of Link Technology Limited, which focused on the distribution of corporate software solutions across Europe. Mr. Winter also participated in the creation, development and management of Tandem Computers` first Pan-European Business Unit, which focused on reservation and distribution systems for the travel and leisure industry.

Mr. Winter will assume the role of CEO as part of Atinera`s planned transition to full-scale solutions rollout across all three operating regions. Former CEO and President Yuri Vizitei will continue to serve as President and oversee worldwide technology development and strategy.

The company was formed in 2000 as a joint venture between Amadeus Global Travel Distribution and Fourth Dimension Software. Atinera delivers scalable, integrated solutions that enable travel companies of any size to take advantage of advanced reservations and inventory management, multi-component travel packaging and Web automation.
