Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association to Sponsor DEMA Conference

The Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association has announced that it will sponsor DEMAå‘s 7th Annual Dive Travel Conference taking place on October 7, 2003, one day before the kick-off of DEMA Show 2003. A DEMA pre-Show conference, the one-day event will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the same location where DEMA Show 2003 will take place October 8 å- 11.
A must for travel agents, dive retailers, group leaders, dive resorts, tourism representatives and wholesale booking agents looking to improve their ability to sell dive travel effectively, this workshop will not only offer insightful information but also the opportunity for industry professionals to meet and network with representatives from many of Bonaire’s hotels and dive shops. 
Speakers will address the latest marketing techniques as well as offer resources and strategies designed to position your team for strong sales results. An added bonus, at the conference, select BONHATA members will be giving away great prizes to conference attendees, including a free trip to Bonaire (this is in addition to the many giveaways that these hotels will be offering during the Show). 
In addition to sponsoring the Dive Travel Conference, BONHATA and its more than 50 member business are planning big things during DEMA Show 2003 including giving away a Trip-A-Day to Bonaire. Other prizes to be given away on a daily basis include weekly car rentals, meals at some of Bonaire’s best restaurants, shirts, dive and nitrox packages, island tours, and activities like windsurfing, kayaking, mountain biking.
