Bank lends Conference a Helping Hand

A local financial institution has made a significant contribution towards the hosting of the 5th annual Caribbean Conference on Sustainable Tourism Development.
The St. Kitts/Nevis/Anguilla National Bank presented a cheque of US$10,000 to the St. Kitts and Nevis tourism minister, Hon. Dwyer Astaphan for sponsorship of the event.
The presentation was made during a news conference on July 25th hosted by the ministry of tourism and the CTO to update the media on preparations for STC-5.
“We at (the St. Kitts/Nevis/Anguilla), National Bank are very proud to be associated with such events that help to sustain our tourism product,” said Shauna Williams, a representative of the bank.
Randolph Hamilton, the chairperson for sponsorship on the STC-5 organising committee commended the bank for the “major contribution.”
“I wish to commend the St. Kitts/Nevis/Anguilla National Bank for being receptive to our request for assistance and for making this major contribution,” said Mr. Hamilton.
