Berthia Parle Voted President Elect of CHA

It has been announced by the CHA that Ms. Berthia Parle has been voted unanimously by members of the committee to become President Elect of the Hotel Association. The decision was reached in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Berthia Parle was recently chosen as ‘one of the most powerful women in tourism’ in Travel Agent Magazine. In addition to her role of CHA’s Advocacy Committee Chairperson, she is the GM of the most successful 71-room Bay Gardens Hotel in St Lucia, and president of the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association.
Berthia Parle was recently chosen as ‘one of the most powerful women in tourism’ in Travel Agent Magazine. In addition to her role of CHA’s Advocacy Committee Chairperson, she is the GM of the most successful 71-room Bay Gardens Hotel in St Lucia, and president of the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism.
Simón Suárez commented that ‘Berthia is a true all-rounder, considered a role model by young hoteliers in the region and is acknowledged by many regional public sector figures, as well as by regional and international companies in the travel and tourism trade, as an excellent ambassador for the Caribbean region.’
Berthia spoke recently at CMEx in Jamaica about ‘Creating an Investment Friendly Caribbean’. The series of conferences were hosted at Half Moon, Montego Bay.
