A New Acquisition For Cornerstone.
Cornerstone Information Systems has acquired the Audit and RateDesk applications from Lanyon.
All of the Audit and RateDesk development and support team, many of which are based in the UK, will become Cornerstone employees. The 70+ airlines using the products, including United Airlines, Qantas and Air France will become customers of Cornerstone. Cornerstone now supports nearly 800 customers from the travel agency, corporation, cruise line, tour operator, meeting planning and airline industries.
AUDIT 3 automates the review of the Billing Information Data Tapes, available from all GDSs, and searches for business-critical revenue integrity and Customer Relationship Management information. RateDesk automates the entire international rate desk process, from managing queues to filling ticket shells, enabling airlines and agencies to accelerate fare quote delivery worldwide, regardless of ticketing location, currency, or GDS.
This is the third acquisition that Cornerstone has completed in the last 18 months. In January 2000, Cornerstone acquired New Media Solutions and its Web-based data management solution, iBank Travel Management. In August of 2000, Cornerstone acquired Automated Travel Systems and its mid office applications from Getthere.com.
