Cable & Wireless, one of the worldå‘s leading global communications companies, will be sponsoring this yearå‘s Word Travel Internet Conference on the 24th October, to be held in conjunction with the World Travel Awards 2002.

The Internet Conference was set up in 1998 to discuss current technological trends and impetus within the travel industry. This year’s World Travel Internet Conference & Expo will take place, at Sandals St Lucia Golf Resort & Spa in St Lucia to bring together key players from the travel industry so that pressing issues associated with the internet can be discussed.

This years internet conference will look at the dramatic impact that the internet has had on the travel industry, raising key issues, such as measuring the true extent of just how much businesses are exploiting the web’s true potential and web distribution strategies today.

The world`s top travel industry executives will congregate for the Conference, to listen to speeches given on key issues on the impact the internet has on the travel industry from a strong selection of Key speakers and inspiring individuals.
