á    Convention Center (Humb Ku and Kukulan adjoined), to hold up to 300 people theatre-style, 120 people U-shape, 300 people banquet-style, 200 people classroom-style or 200 people for cocktails

All audio-visual requirements can be met including use of microphones (wired or wireless), video and retro projectors and screens, mobile music station, flip charts and office equipment (memo pads, folders, pens, etc.), laptop computers, laser printer, photocopier as well as wireless internet connection.  Fees vary according to services/materials.

The resort can customize dining options during events with menus for breakfast, coffee breaks, buffets, hors d’oeuvres and bar service.  Themed parties and events can also be arranged.

 

The Sandos resort staff can coordinate team building activities, including treasure hunts, Olympic Games, sand-castle building contests, moonlight beach volleyball and more.

 

Additional group activities can be arranged for guests including: golf at the nearby Playacar Golf Course, deep sea fishing, visits to archaeological sites like Tulum, Cobá, Chichen Itza, Ecological Park Xcaret and Xel-Ha, and scuba diving and snorkeling trips.  Prices vary according to activity.

 

Those seeking daytime excitement in-between meetings can take advantage of the daily activities program, including volleyball, tennis, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, in-pool scuba diving lessons and a video arcade room.  The property has four swimming pools, featuring an adult-only pool, and five bars including a sports bar, beach bar and pool bar.  Nightly entertainment is provided in a newly finished theater that seats 800 guests.
