Stromma Turism jump on the Hogia bandwagon

Str?mma Turism & Sj?fart is the latest ferry operator to use Hogia’s assistance to simplify its sales and administration processes. Str?mma who operates a fleet of passenger and day-cruise ships in Stockholm and Gothenburg have chosen Hogia to help them create synergies in their mission critical IT systems.Hogia will provide its booking and sales system BOOKIT to Str?mma for their sea based operations. To create a seamless solution, a resource planning system, a ticket sales system, a CRM system and a finance system will be integrated with BOOKIT.

Using the BOOKIT reservations system as a central system for all sales, Hogia will together with the partners provide an integrated system solution and will take responsibility for the implementation of the whole system solution for Str?mma. Hogia Ferry System has a long experience of implementations of booking systems and will use the assistance of its sister company, Hogia Logistics Consulting, specialised in integrations and transport solutions.

“The collected competence within the Hogia group in transport solutions and integrations enables us to supply more than just a standalone product. Together with the other suppliers we create a comprehensive solution where we take responsibility for the communication between the different systems.” says Jan Lundberg, Managing Director at Hogia Ferry Systems.

“We chose Hogia as our supplier because of their long experience from the travel and transport industry and since they were able to offer a solution that fitted into our sales and distribution strategies. At the same time they had the capability of putting together a solution that fits our unique business”, says Jocke Wahlsten at Str?mma Turism & Sj?fart.

“The business concept of Str?mma is very interesting to us as a supplier, since it encompasses a wide range of products that a ferry operator can offer. There is both the transport of passengers in the Stockholm archipelago, sightseeing tours, dinner cruises, as well as the exclusive cruise concept in Rederi Ab Gota Canal. To handle all these types of traffic in the same system is an exciting challenge for us. It gives us the opportunity to broaden our knowledge of business processes that we will have good use for also for other customers in the ferry market”, says Mr Lundberg.

Str?mma is a strategically important customer for Hogia, fitting very well into Hogia’s commitment to the transport industry. Hogia is today the leading supplier in Scandinavia of integration platforms to the public transport industry, and also the biggest supplier worldwide of standard software for booking and administration for the ferry industry.
