China Southern boosts Sydney offering

China Southern Airlines is to increase its number of flights between Sydney and China to daily from 2 December until 15 February 2009, to accommodate increased demand in the peak Christmas and New Year periods. The airline’s additional two flights to Guangzhou, China, will be operated with Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

“We have increased our Sydney services to cater for greater demand during the busy travel period of the year,” said James Liu, Regional Manager Australia for China Southern Airlines. “The increase comprises a combination of passengers visiting friends and relatives, and tourists visiting China following the Beijing Olympics and the inclusion of China in Round-The-World itineraries by the SkyTeam global airline alliance.”
