Hilton Venice to offer group gondola lessons

The Hilton Molino Stucky Venice has come up with an innovative team-building exercise - group gondola lessons.An experienced gondolier teaches groups of up to 40 the ancient Venetian art of steering a gondola on the pier of the Hilton Molino Stucky before taking to the canals in traditional sculling boats.

Lessons for groups with less than 10 people are priced at EUR 300 per person and groups of between ten and 40 people cost EUR 135 per person.

The Hilton Molino Stucky Venice is hailed by experts as one of the “most important restoration in the last fifty years.” The former 19th-century flourmill turned premier hotel boasts 380 rooms, including three executive floors of 88 executive rooms and 47 suites, Venice’s first rooftop pool, the city’s largest spa, and two new restaurants from former Hotel Cipriani alumnus, Chef Franco Luise.

The hotel features over 2600m? of flexible space, making it an ideal venue for a wide range of events. Its convention centre incorporates a unique 1000m? column-free Venetian Ballroom with the capacity to host up to 1000 delegates (theatre style) and also benefits from a spacious pre-function lobby and separate, fully equipped business centre.

For smaller events the hotel offers 14 Hilton meeting rooms and breakout areas serviced by dedicated events managers. All of these rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including high-speed wireless Internet connection.
